Yellow Mellow

1. Light Blue Blazer (link here) - £3.99
2. (Similar) New Look Black Gingham Contrast Sleeve T - Shirt (link here) - £14.99
3. Boohoo Tianna Box Pleat Colour Pop Skater Skirt (link here) - £10.00
4. Daisy Street Kaylin Patent Cut - Out T - Bar Shoes in Yellow (link here) - £14.99

I am absolutely loving my new yellow T - bar shoes from Daisy Street, very SS14. Firstly, what a bargain the light blue blazer is at £3.99?! I bought it from an online E-bay store from China. It did take a while to get here, but it was so worth it. I am wearing my Topshop Gingham T-shirt. Unfortunately, it has sold out online, however, I managed to find an alternative from New Look which is very similar. I feel the Gingham Print breaks up the pastel colours. I wore the Tianna Pop Skater Skirt and I was dying for a pinky coloured shade and this came in store a few weeks ago and I just had to snap it up. The shoes will be featured in many of my outfits throughout SS14 I'm sure!

Until next time,

My SS14 Shoe Wishlist

When it comes to shopping, my weakness is buying shoes. There are many pairs of shoes that I wish to get my hands on this SS14 and I thought I would share that list with you!.

1. Stella McCartney Dupe

Cut Out Chunky Platforms (link here for both) - £26. 87

Image 1 of ASOS SET ME FREE Heels
ASOS Set Me Free Heels (link here) - £24.50

These shoes won't be everyones' cup of tea but I think these shoes are just amazing. The real Stella McCartney shoes are definitely out of my price range, therefore I am opting for a cheaper version on E-bay. I was worried that I would only find cheaper versions that only ship from China meaning that they would take ages to come but I managed to find some cheap ones from the UK for only £26.87. The best bit is yet to come. This E-bay store do these shoes in Pink!!! I cannot wait to purchase these!.
There is also a similar pair available from ASOS at only £24.50 in the sale, too many bargains to cope with right now. Not good for the bank balance.

2. La Moda Lilac Jelly Shoes

Lilac Jelly Shoes (link here) - £9.99
I love La Moda. They have so much variety at such reasonable prices. As these shoes are only £9.99! I was estatic when the Jelly Shoes made a comeback last year as I lived in them as a child and no they're not just for children! I was sporting the black pair last Summer; this year I thought I would step up my game and purchase a lilac pair as it is my favourite colour this year. The pastel trend is a big hit this year and these shoes would be perfect for a casual day out or as beach wear. I can't wait to snap up a pair of these!

3. Silver Holographic Sandals

Silver Holographic Sandals (link here) - £17.99

Yes, you've guessed it. This is another E-bay find. I have been after a pair of holographic sandals for a while now but I haven't been able to decide whether I want to purchase the style above or a boot style with more buckles. I opted for the above style because doing up lots of buckles on the boot style will take me a long time and I'm not very patient. To be honest, I think the sandals style will be more versatile. These pair are the cheapest I have seen also and with free P&P, what's not to like?!

4. Topshop Giggle Geek Shoes

Topshop Giggle Geek Shoes (link here) - £28.00

I have had my eyes on these shoes ever since they arrived online a week ago. I am not usually a fan of these types of sandals but I love the colour and the design. I think the T-bar design is adorable and will look lovely worn with Summer dresses. I don't think they're too over pricey at £28.00 either.

5. Daisy Street Kaylin Patent Cut - Out T - Bar Shoes in Coral

Daisy Street Kaylin Patent Cut - Out T - Bar Shoes (link here) - £14.99

I am a huge fan of Daisy Street (if you didn't know that already) and when these shoes appeared on the website last week, I just had to snap these up. I haven't purchased the coral shoes yet, but I have bought the yellow shade which are amazing, much better in real life and so, so comfortable! These will look gorgeous with Summer dresses and skirts and are right on trend with the pastel shades and the nude colours. At £14.99, I would say they are a bargain.

6. River Island Green Glitter Block Heel Jelly Shoes
River Island Green Glitter Block Heel Jelly Shoes (link here) - £18.00

Yes, it's the Jelly Shoes again. What I find, is that I always tend to want the same pairs of shoes but in different colours. Normally, I am not a fan of the heeled Jelly Shoes but how can you not love these?! They are beautiful! They would go with any style too and they're only £18.00 which I believe is very reasonable.

That is my SS14 shoe wishlist for now! If you have seen anymore great bargains or shoes that you think I may like or want to share than please let me know :)

Until next time,

Feeling like a Marshmallow

(My dog jumped up at me with dirty paws in the last photo, luckily he did it after the photos were taken!)
1. Missguided Lilih Sweatshirt in Pastels (link here) - £19.99
2. Topshop Petite Mini Gingham Leggings (link here) - £22.00
3. (Similar) Ronya Oversized Boyfriend Coat (link here) - £40.00
4. (Similar) Pretty Little Thing Mia Red Patent Creeper (link here) - £8.00

I am most definitely feeling like a cross between a Marshmallow and a Dolly Mixture sweet today. As the weather is slowly deteriorating yet again (typical British weather), I thought I would add a little colour to the world and go all out. I have got the pink coat out again after putting it towards the back of my coat rail as the weather WAS warming up, but hey, this is the UK after all. The coat I am wearing is from Dresslily has sold out, but I managed to find a similar version on Boohoo, however, it is a little pricier than what I had paid for the coat I own.
Last week, Missguided had free postage on all orders, so I just had to make an order. I had my beady eye on this pastel jumper for a while now but I am on a tight budget at the moment, so I'm trying to only buy clothes which are on sale, have a discount or free postage. So, you can imagine how happy I was to see that Missguided had free postage available. I am in love with this jumper. It just screams SS14 all over. I love all the variations of pastel colours it has and I think the pocket is adorable. I paired this jumper with a pair of Gingham leggings from Topshop. I have had these for a while now and get plenty of wear from them. However, I would advise to get a size smaller as they do come up a little big on the legs as I have to roll the hems up and these are petite length! However, at only £22.00 how can you refuse?! I personally think the leggings pair well with the jumper. Lastly, I added a pair of red patent brogues/creepers. I always get complimented on these and always get asked where they are from but unfortunately, I bought them three years ago and they have sold out where I purchased them and I can't seem to see them anywhere else, but I love them! They go with anything and they inject abit of a darker effect to this outfit.
After these pictures were taken, my dog decided to jump up at me and put his dirty paws on my clothes but luckily this was after the photos were taken....just!

SS14 Trends: The Androgynous Look by Wear Eponymous

SS14 Trends: The Androgynous Look: Wear Eponymous Style
1. Classic Trench Coat (link here) - £79.99
2. Contrast Collar Shirt (link here) - £34.99
3. Classic Clutch Bag (link here) - £39.99
4. Classic Cigarette Trousers (link here) - £29.99
Wear Eponymous website (link here)

I, for one, am all over this androgynous look. I wouldn't class my style as anything in particular but I do usually tend to sway towards the more boyish cuts. However, my 2014 New Year resolution was to experiment with more girlie pieces, which I can proudly say is going swimmingly at the moment.
Anyway, the clothing store Wear Eponymous contacted me and asked if I would like to enter a competition to win a pastel dress and I am currently crushing on the pastel trend at the minute, so how could I refuse?! Also, this competition appealed to me because it involved piecing an outfit together and reviewing it, which I love to do as I love writing.
More to the point, I have opted with a boyish yet chic look. This would be an outfit I would wear to my day job as it is classy, smart yet showcasing current trends.
I particularly love the trench coat because it is girlie with the pleated bottom, yet has a boyfriend fit to it in regards to length but is fitted in terms of the shape. The beige/pastel shirt would add a feminine side to this outfit. It would look really good against the black as the shades will become noticed as it is the statement piece. Also, the leather collar adds a edgy touch to the outfit.
I absolutely adore the clutch bag. It is extremely versatile with the detachable strap as it can be worn over the shoulder or carried. I love the buckle detailing which is giving off the chic vibe.
The cigarette trousers are my favourite piece. I love cigarette trousers. I love how they are a boyish cut, yet still remain chic. Unfortunately for me, I am 5ft 3, therefore, cigarette trousers look silly on me unless they're in the petite range, but on the right person, they do look fabulous. These trousers would be perfect for all occasions; for work, nights out, shopping trips... Cigarette trousers are becoming a huge staple for SS14 so Wear Eponymous are currently on point with their pieces!

I hope this gives you some ideas on how to pull off the androgynous look :)

Dot to Dot

1. River Island Spotty Tappy Dress (link here) - £25.00
2. Black Fluffy Jumper (E - bay)
3. Dr Martens Polley Shoe (link here) - £90.00

I feel that I look slightly awkward in these photos haha, so I apologise! I had just come back from a manic driving lesson with my dad.
At this time of year I think everyone faces the dilemma of what to wear because the weather is very hormonal. This is why I love layering with a jumper without looking too overdressed or under dressed.
In this post, I am wearing a navy blue polka dot dress from River Island which I purchased via ASOS as then I can get free postage, yay! I love polka dot; it's girly and cute. Not forgetting that this dress has a peter pan collar and I looooveee peter pan collars. I wore a black fluffy jumper which I purchased from E - bay over the top. I love this jumper as it is fitted and can be worn with various of things, definitely a big staple in my wardrobe at the moment. I love how the collar from the dress sits perfectly on top of the jumper.
I wore my Mary Janes Dr Martens, so this adds to the cuteness. Like all Dr Martens, I advise to purchase a smaller size as they tend to come up a little bigger. These are the first pair that actually fit me properly as I purchased a size smaller. I always feel like I should be at Primary School when I wear these shoes but they are adorable after all.

Until next time,

Buy My Stuff on Depop Please!

Depop username: sommer_guy (link here)

As I am a big fan of selling my items on E-bay week after week due to my forever overflowing wardrobe, I have been introduced to Depop. Depop is very similar to E-bay but the only difference being that your identity is shown and your item auctions don't have a expiry date unless the item is bought. But the best bit is that there is no insertion fees, yaaaay! Depop is definitely a faster way of uploading your items as I feel it can take a very long time to upload items on E-bay; with Depop it only takes two to three minutes. Literally. It is easy to set up a Depop account but Depop can only be used as an app as the whole point was for people to be able to have the convenience of purchasing or uploading from their pocket. The only downside I have with Depop is that you can only upload four images of your item whereas on E-bay 12 free images can be uploaded. Also, as there is no auction expiry time, your item may never sell and if you're desperate for funds this can be a bit of a pain, that's when E-bay comes in handy. Overall, I think I am going to use Depop on a regular basis and I definitely recommend it. My Depop username is listed above, it would be great if you could check my items out. Thank you! :)

It's finally time to get the kimono out!

1. (Similar) Pretty Little Thing Piper Leopard Print Kimono (link here) - £18.00
2. Primark Fluffy Cropped White Turtleneck Tee
3. Topshop Baxter Black Skinny Jeans (link here) - £40.00 (I'm also selling these on E-bay, link here grab a bargain!)
4. E-bay Chunky Black Ankle Boots (link here) - £12.32

As the weather is going through a hormonal phase, I thought I would brave it and get the kimono out! These pictures were taken last week, therefore, it was pretty warm. I'm not a big fan of leopard print but I fell in love with this leopard print kimono as soon as I saw it. I purchased it from Daisy Street and it has a gorgeous silk like material feel to it. The kimono is a waterfall design and I think it's a lovely fit and goes with anything. Unfortunately, it is out of stock on Daisy Street but I found one similar on Pretty Little Thing (see the link above for the kimono.)
I paired the kimono with a fluffy cropped white turtleneck tee from Primark which are very much sought after. These are available in many colours but I feel the white one can be paired with plenty of things. The top is quite cropped, I'm not a fan of cropped items so I will probably wear a vest underneath or high waisted bottoms. I wore my Topshop Baxter Skinny Jeans on the bottom. I have ummed and ahhed over these jeans for the past two years as they aren't really my type as I like high waisted jeans but then I discovered the Joni jeans, which are the best thing ever. I am selling the Baxter jeans on E - bay (check out the links above for link - get a good bargain) as I have just bought the Joni jeans in black.
Lastly, I wore my new ankle boots purchased from E-bay for £12.32, bargain, right? They are from China and they arrived a little under four weeks, but it's worth it! I thought I would pair these boots with this outfit as it is a pretty sophisticated look.

SS14 Trends: Matching Sets

I thought I would do a post on one of my favourite trends this season. The matching set. I have well and truely fallen for the matching set trend being an owner of six matching sets myself. I am going to give a short review of a number of online stores that I believe have some lovely matching sets.

1. Glitters for Dinner

Image of 2 Piece Black Anchor Set
Two Piece Black Anchor Set (link here) - £27.25

Image of MADE TO ORDER - As If Black Checkered Set
As If Black Checkered Set (link here) - £51.48
Glitters For Dinner website (link here)

Glitters for Dinner is a unique and affordable online clothing store based in Australia. They produce one off, unique pieces that it's likely no one else will own the same item as you. GFD's matching pieces really stand out for me. The company produce matching set designs which aren't available anywhere else which I really like. GFD are true to their word when they say they are affordable as I bought a full matching set for under £30 which is a total bargain and not forgetting, they also ship worldwide for FREE. So, if you're looking for a unique matching set, definitely check out Glitters for Dinner!.

2. Motel Rocks

Motel Annie Skirt and Mindy Top pack in Monochrome Symmetry (link here) - £45.00

Motel Pacey T - Shirt and Jeanie Pants pack in Windsor Blue (link here) - £62.00
Motel website (link here)

Motel have some fab matching sets. There are many two pieces to choose from and in lots of different styles. I personally like the two pieces listed above. I currently own the Monochrome Symmetry set and I love it, it's so much better than the pictures. Although, I would say to purchase the skirt in a smaller size than what you normally would get as it tends to come up a little bigger. I am a big fan of the turtleneck trend this SS14, so I just had to purchase the top also. The price is £45.00 and cheaper if you buy it as a set rather than separately. I don't currently own a trouser set yet so I'm hoping to make the Windsor Blue set my first one! The outfit reminds me of pyjamas, I can imagine it's super comfy and I love the cropped leg. The pieces would look good as separates also. This matching set is a little more pricey at £62.00 but I can imagine it is worth the price!

3. ASOS

Image 1 of ASOS PETITE Exclusive Mesh Insert Structured Top
1, ASOS Petite Exclusive Mesh Insert Structured Top (link here) - £28.00
2. ASOS Petite Exclusive shorts with Mesh Insert (link here) - £28.00

ASOS Slim Trousers In Luxe Fabric
1. ASOS Blazer in Luxe Fabric (link here) - £55.00
2. ASOS Slim Trousers in Luxe Fabric (link here) - £40.00
ASOS website (link here)

If you're looking for a smart, chic matching set, then ASOS is the place to go. ASOS was one of the first stores to begin the matching set trend in 2012/2013. The ASOS petite matching set (listed above) is perfect for the Spring and Summer season as it would be perfect on a hot day, yet it is very on trend being a pastel shade and having mesh inserts. I currently own this matching set and if you're thinking of purchasing this, I recommend you do as it is very flattering. The shorts are a high waisted shape and look great as a separate with other pastel shades, as does the top. Each piece of this outfit is £28.00 which I feel is reasonable. The second matching set outfit is another trouser set. However, this outfit is more chic and elegant. This outfit would be perfect for a formal occasion. Again, it is also a pastel lilac colour which is one of my favourite shades. The trousers are a cropped, ankle grazer fit which is very on trend this season. The jacket is a boyfriend fit, so I imagine this outfit would give off a boyish look which I love. However, this set is a little pricey at £55.00 and £40.00 but you can purchase the items as separates.

4. Poppy Lux

1. Poppy Lux Rosie Top - Blue/White (link here) - £26. 00
2. Poppy Lux Rosie Skirt - Blue/White (link here) - £28.00
Poppy Lux website (found here)

I have only discovered Poppy Lux but I'm so glad I have found it as I'm sure I'll purchase plenty from them. This matching set caught my eye as did the price as I think it is very reasonable for a matching set. This matching set would be perfect for a Summers' day and as separates. I think they would go nice with pastel colours which are huge this SS14. I definitely recommend you purchase from Poppy Lux. Especially as they have 10% off for new customers and free delivery, what's not to love?!

5. Lily Collett

Image of PINK STRIPE COORD

Image of STRIPED COORD
Striped Coord (link here) - £50.00
Lily Collett website (link here)

Last but certainly not least, is Lily Collett. I have been eyeing Lilys' two pieces ever since she had followed me on Twitter. They are without a doubt one of the best matching sets made from fabric and material that I have seen yet. I am yet to purchase a two piece from Lily but that is only because they sell out really fast due to high demand. However, I really do like the Striped Coord (listed above) which is still on sale at £50.00 which is reasonable considering it has been made from scratch. The first matching set listed above is by far my favourite, but unfortunately it had sold out quickly. The matching sets that Lily makes range from two piece and three piece sets. Lily makes the sets with a variety of different fabrics, materials and designs. Lily is definitely one to watch for the future, I recommend you go check out her website!.

If you know of any matching set websites then please let me know :) also, I will be doing a matching set post in a few weeks with pictures of me in my matching sets that I currently own.

Until next time,
